"I have great respect for the past. If you don't know where you've come from, you don't know where you're going. I have respect for the past, but I'm a person of the moment. I'm here, and I do my best to be completely centered at the place I'm at, then I go forward to the next place."

DR. JAZZ BIO
My name is Jasmine Melody Davis, PhD, PA. aka Dr. Jazz. My doctorate degree is in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. I have lived in many places, which has helped me learn to adapt in life as well as connect with diverse people. Although, I continue to work all over the nation and with people from all over the world, I have claimed Miami as my home and community. I conduct in-person and remote therapy sessions with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from various social backgrounds counseling on everything from daily problems, work or relationship issues, to mental health disorders. I also enjoy traveling for work giving talks, conducting workshops, and doing community work for grant funded projects. For 15 years and counting, I have had the privilege of helping people understand and embrace themselves, and engage in making lasting changes for more balanced and fulfilling lives, and a small but cherished part in helping divers and underserved communities become empowered in meeting their health related objectives and thereby improve their quality of life. I am very grateful to be able to do this as a profession.
